Last updated: 1 March 2026 · Effective date: 1 March 2026
SugarDaddy Singapore Pte. Ltd. ("SugarDaddy Singapore," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of all Members and visitors to our Platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal data when you use the website at sugar-daddy-singapore.com and any associated mobile applications (collectively, the "Platform").
This Privacy Policy is prepared in compliance with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) and all subsidiary legislation and guidelines issued by the Personal Data Protection Commission of Singapore. By using the Platform, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
1. What Personal Data We Collect
We collect personal data that you voluntarily provide to us and data that is automatically generated by your use of the Platform. The categories of personal data we collect include:
1.1 Data You Provide Directly:
- Account registration data: name or display name, email address, date of birth, gender, sexual orientation (optional), and password;
- Profile data: photographs, biographical information, lifestyle interests, income range (voluntary), occupation, and location (district-level, not precise address);
- Verification data: identity document details submitted for profile verification purposes;
- Payment data: billing address and payment card details (processed and stored by our PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment processor — we do not store full card numbers);
- Communications: messages sent to other Members through the Platform's messaging system, and correspondence with our support, safety, and billing teams;
- User-generated content: photographs, written content, and other materials uploaded to the Platform.
1.2 Data Collected Automatically:
- Technical data: IP address, device type, operating system, browser type and version, and unique device identifiers;
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, time spent on the Platform, click-stream data, and search queries;
- Location data: approximate location derived from IP address (we do not collect precise GPS location without your explicit consent);
- Cookie and tracking data: as described in Section 8 of this Policy.
1.3 Data from Third Parties:
- If you choose to connect a third-party account (such as a social media profile) to your SugarDaddy Singapore account, we may receive data from that third party as permitted by its privacy settings;
- Identity verification data from our third-party verification service providers.
2. How We Use Your Personal Data
We use your personal data only for the following purposes, and only where we have a lawful basis for doing so under the PDPA:
- Providing the Platform: to create and manage your account, enable you to use all Platform features, process your Membership subscription, and deliver our services;
- Matching and personalisation: to power our AI-based lifestyle compatibility matching engine and to personalise your experience on the Platform;
- Safety and moderation: to verify Member identities, investigate reports of policy violations, enforce our Terms of Service, and protect Members from harmful conduct;
- Communications: to send you service-related notifications (account confirmations, security alerts, policy updates), and — with your consent — marketing communications about Platform features and promotions;
- Payment processing: to process Membership fees and manage billing;
- Analytics and improvement: to understand how Members use the Platform, identify technical issues, and improve our features and services;
- Legal compliance: to comply with our obligations under applicable Singapore law, including responding to lawful requests from regulatory authorities or law enforcement.
3. Disclosure of Your Personal Data
3.1 To Other Members. Profile information that you choose to make public — including your display name, photographs, and lifestyle details — will be visible to other Members. You control the visibility of each element of your profile through your account settings. Private information such as your email address, real name (if different from display name), and payment details are never shared with other Members.
3.2 To Service Providers. We engage trusted third-party service providers to assist in operating the Platform, including payment processors, identity verification services, cloud hosting providers, analytics providers, and customer support tools. These providers access personal data only to the extent necessary to perform their contracted services and are contractually required to maintain appropriate data protection standards.
3.3 For Legal Reasons. We may disclose your personal data to law enforcement, regulatory bodies, or other government authorities where required by Singapore law, court order, or to protect the safety of Members or the public. We will notify you of any such disclosure to the extent permitted by law.
3.4 Business Transfers. In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets, your personal data may be transferred to the successor entity. We will provide reasonable notice before your personal data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
3.5 We Never Sell Your Data. We do not sell, rent, lease, or otherwise transfer your personal data to third parties for their own commercial or marketing purposes under any circumstances.
4. Data Security
4.1 We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include:
- 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmitted between your device and our servers;
- Encryption of sensitive data fields at rest on our servers;
- Role-based access controls limiting employee access to personal data to those with a legitimate operational need;
- Regular security audits and penetration testing by independent third-party security firms;
- PCI-DSS compliant payment processing (we do not store full payment card numbers on our systems).
4.2 While we take data security very seriously, no system is completely impenetrable. In the event of a data breach that poses a significant risk to affected Members, we will notify you and the Personal Data Protection Commission as required by the PDPA's mandatory breach notification provisions.
5. Data Retention
5.1 We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period thereafter as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
5.2 Upon deletion of your account, your public profile and associated content will be removed from the Platform immediately. Residual data may remain in our backup systems for up to 30 days, after which it will be purged in accordance with our data retention schedule.
5.3 Some data — such as transaction records and safety-related logs — may be retained for longer periods where required by Singapore law or legitimate business necessity, including the Prevention of Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing regulations.
6. Your Rights Under the PDPA
Under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act, you have the following rights with respect to your personal data:
- Right of Access: You have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you and information about how it is used;
- Right of Correction: You have the right to request correction of any inaccurate or incomplete personal data we hold about you;
- Right to Withdraw Consent: Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal;
- Right to Data Portability: You have the right to receive personal data you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format, where technically feasible;
- Right to Erasure: You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data, subject to any overriding legal obligations we have to retain certain data.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact our Data Protection Officer at privacy@sugar-daddy-singapore.com. We will respond to all requests within 30 days. We may request proof of identity before processing any request.
7. International Data Transfers
7.1 Your personal data is primarily stored and processed on servers located in Singapore. Where we engage service providers that process data outside Singapore, we take steps to ensure that such transfers are in accordance with the PDPA's requirements for cross-border data transfers, including obtaining contractual assurances from the recipient that it will protect your personal data to a standard comparable to that under the PDPA.
8. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
8.1 We use cookies and similar tracking technologies (such as pixels and local storage) on the Platform for the following purposes:
- Essential cookies: required for the Platform to function correctly, including maintaining your login session and security tokens;
- Functional cookies: remembering your preferences and settings to personalise your experience;
- Analytics cookies: understanding how Members use the Platform so we can improve it (we use privacy-respecting analytics tools that anonymise IP addresses);
- Marketing cookies: only with your consent, to measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns.
8.2 You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings or through our cookie consent banner. Please note that disabling essential cookies will affect the functionality of the Platform.
8.3 We do not use third-party advertising cookies or allow external advertisers to place tracking technologies on the Platform. SugarDaddy Singapore products do not display advertising and do not allow advertisers to track Members.
9. Children's Privacy
The Platform is strictly for adults aged 21 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 21. If we become aware that a person under 21 has created an account, we will immediately terminate that account and delete all associated personal data. If you believe a minor has registered on the Platform, please contact us immediately at safety@sugar-daddy-singapore.com.
10. Links to Third-Party Services
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, apps, or services. This Privacy Policy applies only to our Platform. We have no control over and accept no responsibility for the privacy practices of any third-party service. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of any third-party service you visit.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. We will notify you of any material changes by posting a prominent notice on the Platform or by sending an email to your registered address before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of the revised Policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
